Djokovic Sets His Sights on LA 2028

Novak Djokovic has revealed that competing at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is firmly on his radar, describing it as one of his "long-term goals." The Serbian legend claimed the Olympic gold medal he had long chased at the Paris 2024 Games, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in the final to complete the coveted Golden Slam.

Despite the fact that he will be 41 years old by the summer of 2028, Djokovic is determined to give himself a shot at defending the title.

"It's one of the long-term goals — to make it to the Olympics. It would be nice," he said after his second-round victory over Kamil Majchrzak at Indian Wells on Saturday. "There's still a lot of time until then. I think at my age and at this stage of my career, every year feels longer than it does for younger players. But I'll try to get there. It's definitely one of my motivations, so I'll do my best to be there."
