Three More Teams Set to Reach Conference League Play-Off Round
Following the first two second-leg matches in the Conference League third qualifying round yesterday, three more ties will be decided today.
At 16:00 UTC, GKS Katowice host Hapoel Tel Aviv. The first leg, played on neutral ground, saw Andrian Kraev's side — who eliminated Ludogorets in the previous round — win 2-0. The Polish hosts will be banking on home support and a head start in match fitness, with their domestic league already underway.
Also kicking off at 16:00 UTC, FC Copenhagen face Debrecen. The Danish side are heavy favorites after a commanding 3-0 win away in the first leg. Bulgarian goalkeeper Plamen Andreev is expected to start again for the Hungarian side, having kept his place over the weekend in a 1-0 league win over Nyíregyháza.
The third match of the day, also at 16:00 UTC, pits Rapid Vienna against Estonia's Paide. There's little suspense here either, with the Austrian side having thrashed their opponents 4-1 away in the first leg. Rapid have been in excellent form since the start of the season, with six straight wins across all competitions following an unbeaten run in preseason friendlies.
